(June 28th, 2019, Shanghai) Recently, at the 2019 Skilled Talent Cultivation Summary and Commendation Conference held in Baoshan District, Shanghai, “Lv Chenjian Technician Innovation Studio” and Lv Chenjian from Shanghai Hilong Drill Pipe Co., Ltd. won the honorary titles Excellent Skilled Team and Chief Skilled Talent of the “Double-hundred Plan” for skilled talent cultivation in Baoshan District, respectively, and won funding and a bonus of RMB120,000.

 “Lv Chenjian Technician Innovation Studio” and Lv Chenjian were selected to be part of the “Double-hundred Plan” for skilled talent cultivation in Baoshan District, in January 2018. Based on the one and a half-year project follow-up assessment, they were included into the list of the second batch of excellent skilled team and chief skilled talent of “Double-hundred Plan” for skilled talent cultivation in Baoshan District, from 2017 to 2018, along with 25 other teams and 25 individuals.

From 2017 to 2018, technician Lv Chenjian led the “Lv Chenjian Technician Innovation Studio” to conduct technological upgrade and transformation of multiple projects in the company, which not only reduced the production cost, but also created significant economic benefits and further improved the competitiveness of the company products.

 “Lv Chenjian Technician Innovation Studio” proposed a new model for saving costs and revenue share with equipment manufacturers for two projects, i.e., the thickening machine and the thermal treatment servo motor. By reducing capital requirements, the proposed method saved the company RMB700,000 in electricity charges. At the same time, through the methods proposed by the “Lv Chenjian Technician Innovation Studio” for the volume reduction transformation project and the power factor transformation of No. 2 and No. 3 high-voltage switch rooms, the contracted electricity requirement for the No. 2 high-voltage switch room reduced from 2320 KW to 1500 KW, and for the No. 3 high-voltage switch room reduced from 1800 KW to 1000 KW, based on actual production requirements, thus generating savings of RMB777,600 on fixed electricity charges for the company annually.

The “Double-hundred Plan” in Baoshan District, Shanghai, is Baoshan District Government’s plan for skilled talent cultivation within its region. It is being implemented in three batches from 2015 to 2020. It plans to cultivate and subsidize 100 excellent skilled teams and 100 chief skilled talents.
